This period refined them as musicians and exposed them to the real world of dank streets and (literally) whores, and this turned out to be fine inspiration for their later work. And unfortunately I must remind you that the recognition that The Beatles' music "(w)as the epitome of its time" as you wrote did not occur until some time had elapsed. Sadly, The Jonas Brothers' music may well be just that. Then again, we won't know for a while, will we? Thank heaven for retrospection. Right on Melissa.
